High Performance
Modern housing schemes, particularly those in inner city regeneration areas, demand high performance wooden windows that provide both security and convenience. The Hi-Profile Combi windows 1.5 are designed to satisfy long-term maintenance plans and commitments, with all external surfaces flush and the minimum of joint lines. Fully reversible configurations allow minor external maintenance to be carried out inside the building. The external beading design reduces internal maintenance and significantly enhances perceived security.
Planning requirements – particularly PPG3, which directly affects modern housing schemes – put high demands on architects’ design capabilities. The Hi-Profile Combi 1.5 wooden windows make their work easier by providing total flexibility. All modes of operation (side and top-hung reversible) match externally, and dimensions can be specified across the widest practical range of sizes and fenestration (up to hardware loading limits). We manufacture every wooden window to order, to the specifier’s individual requirements.
Construction
The Hi-Profile Combi 1.5 windows are made from either:
- softwood, protected with an advanced preservative system; or
- selected quality hardwood
All our softwood windows are certified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Chain of Custody.
